Yp excitied! Computer stuff is a thing I love, and HTML/CSS is a good intro language to learn
Plus, with basic HTML/CSS knowdledge, you can do things like make your own website, and host your own forum
I have my A+ equilivent certification, as well as a few Google Networking certs. I would love to get more, but alas they too cost money

i am starting to get excited... im not sure if i want to learn web development or cybersecurity. i think web dev would satisfy my artsy needs but cybersecurity is really in demand even if its more complicated
any suggestions about the difference between the two?

my current plans are to do something with computers as well just because of how passionate (i think?) i am about em... though im not really confident about how i wanna start... im lightly studying for an a+ certification because another family member is doing it too and i might see if i can learn html/css or python? not sure

I got my A+ (equilivant) certification! It was a lot easier than I was told it would be, but I also am very passionate about this stuffmichaelwave1997 wrote: ↑January 21st, 2024, 12:10 pm im lightly studying for an a+ certification because another family member is doing it too and i might see if i can learn html/css or python? not sure
HTML/CSS is an Easy-to-Learn but Hard-to-Master skills; it’s easy to understand HOW to mess with it, but making good looking sites that will work on every device requires more work. It’s a wonderful start for someone who wants to learn how to program tho
And as for learning an actual programming language, Python is a perfect choice! I started learning Python2, before moving out to Python3. It’s a fun language to mess with
