GoodReads Dragon-POV books

Post by Neververy4 »

A tumblr user posted a GoodReads link on the site about Dragon-POV books that aren't about Dragon killing humans for sport.

GoodReads Dragon Po V Xenofiction

The first one is, of course, Wings of Fire, but there are quite a few other titles down the list as well.

ooh..Jo Walton - Tooth and Claw seems like it might be interesting!

I do see Temeraire on that list, and while I've only read the first one, it is definitely a 'human taming a dragon' book and also iirc involves killing humans, as it's literally about a human military air force that uses dragons.

I've read the first five books of Temeraire and I must shill for it, though! Sadly the focus isn't on the dragons all the time, but they are at the very least treated as intelligent individuals by the story, if not by some characters  . The "taming" of the dragons and their usage as military weapons is a topic addressed in the story rather than just shrugged off and passed as a "cool" thing.

I wish I could say more without spoiling every book in the series!!!! But trust me when I say I am very picky about my dragon books, and Temeraire has my vote. :dr_green: :geek:
