Monster hunter

Inspired by me playing MH: World lately I thought i'd make a topic about it in here.. Mainly to share the awesome creature design in these games.
Im a huge fan of that almost everything is a "Wyvern" in this game, so its OOPS all dragons!: The Game
Heres a few of my fave monsters:
Tetsucabra: sadly Not a wyvern, big frog guy with tusks
Zinogre: fanged wyvern, electric wolf dragon (fan favourite, can you tell)
Gore Magala: a baby elder dragon, kind of like if a moth was a dragon
(included some more images of gore magala under the cut because its such a detailed design its hard to see)

i've never played monster hunter but hell yeah they definitely have some great designs!! i like nargacuga a lot too c: i feel like monster hunter characters are so colorful and fun in fanart !

forreal. I think the monster designs themselves are so terrifyingly complicated i like the ways people draw them simpler.

YESSS I LOVE MONSTER HUNTER!!! my favourite is dodogama though im a barrioth fan as well. im a pretty big fan of all the designs ill be real!!!!

have you seen the monster hunter stories designs? i love both mainline and stories designs, but boy are the stories designs so useful for when you're making fanart xD

I completely forgot that dodogama was in world.. i cant wait to see that clueless face again. i also really like barioth's mask-like face

and funny enough im also slowly playing through stories 2 for the first time! apart from wanting to chew a brick every time navirou speaks its a fun little spinoff! big fan of the art direction

On a recent trip I got a monster hunter blind box for fun, and because gore magala was on the front of the box and look who I got!
