Thorne the Radioactive Dragon

Thorne
Age: 37 physical, 589 chronological
Gender: Female
Species: Draconid (artificially created draconic humanoid)
About: Thorne stands 12' tall, and her right arm is a bionic replacement. In the center of her chest sits a small nuclear reactor, powering its bionic arm and heart. She was created by a militant faction of kobolds as part of a super soldier program designed to create bodies to contain the power of ancient dragons (dragons inherently tied to the fundamental forces of the universe, hunted to (presumed) extinction in the early days of interstellar civilization). The program was designed to train them to be instinctively aggressive shock troops, and put all 150 of its subjects through extreme trials from the moment of their birth. At the height of the program, the subjects were forcibly bestowed with the essence of an ancient dragon. This directly resulted in the death of 71 of the subjects, and caused heavy injuries to many others, including Thorne, who nearly died. The program directors, who were eager to see as much of their investment succeed as possible, replacing the damaged parts of its body with powerful mechanical replacements. This ultimately did not save their investment, as the traumatic process of draconification spurred Thorne and the remaining other 78 subjects to rebel. After breaking out of the training facility, the draconids scattered across the galaxy. Thorne hijacked a deuterium freighter and set a course for a far off planet, entering suspended animation for years at a time, awakening occasionally to navigate and to hunt.
