on every long-running rp i've had, we've always ended up with some version of an incorrect quotes channel, a place for fun/funny character development while acknowledging that these things aren't something the characters would literally say in universe. it's something that aligns with their personality and characterization more than their surrounding context

Kronch. Really. Well I'm from Kyutica and I've never heard anyone use the phrase 'steamed hams' before.
Elbow: Oh not in Kyutica no, it's a Palbany expression!
