
Basically you played as a character from the series and using resource cards you would carefully build a deck by "buying" cards in a sort of open market that takes up a majority of the table. You always wanted to try making a deck that played to your characters strengths/make something incredibly broken.
For example: RE2 Leon gets bonus damage on handguns which are a weapon no one else really wants to invest in because of how low the damage is on them otherwise, so it's a resource you're not competing with anyone else on AND you can do some pretty wild damage with the correct hand.
You'd wanna deal the maximum damage you can because the survivors would want to "Explore the mansion" which would reveal a creature, an event, or even a useful item.
The game ends by killing the biggest monster in the mansion and then tallying up the score on the creatures you killed.
I kinda miss playing it honestly.
