And in case anyone is thinking about joining, the Halloween event is starting soon! The festivities start a week before Halloween, unless you are a spriter and want to create mini treats this year for the trick-or-treat hunt at which case the submissions for has started now.
Usually what happens at Halloween, is there is a little game to play like a potion mixing game or a VN and you have to solve the murder, that kind of thing. There will also be eggs popping up on the site every 5 minutes that aren't the normal dragon eggs, and are just decorative eggs for you to grab for your Halloween basket and can look at for years to come.

And on Halloween for 24hours there will be a brand new special Halloween dragon being released! It's a scramble to get them, so unless you have quick internet and a quick stylus/mouse/finger, you may want to wait until a few hours into Halloween day so you won't be competing with so many people. You may also find Halloween dragon eggs from previous years in a special area of the Abandoned cave and the "Halloween" biome.
(Oh! There is an egg and hatchling limit. As you collect more dragons, the limit gives you a little more room to play with, but yeah. Don't stock up on older halloween eggs and not leave room for the new special dragon on halloween day! Once your eggs hatch, you can get more eggs again. I think the max amount at new user level is 4 or 5. Maybe 5? But I know as you get into it, the max amount of eggs you can have at a time is 8. )So, there you go.
