The Sims!

I figured a sims topic would be good! would sims count as sandbox? there's no simulation game section (and tbh i doubt one is needed) so this seems like the best option haha

right now i'm playing the sims 3!
I tried doing the 10 minute build challenge. i wasted a bunch of time trying to get the roof to do what i wanted and it didn't do what i wanted so i ended up building a second floor. Big Mistake

Image
Honestly I'm mostly ok with the outside

but the inside leaves a bit to be desired sdfasd i was able to get in a fridge so its technically liveable! the sims can eat! but they will have to sleep on the floor. and pee themselves because there's no toilet. they'll survive though.

i think i'm gonna try this challenge again. another time dsafds

I love that you build places for your characters, that's such a fun idea :heart_blue:

Yeah :D Omg I have all my sims 4 stuff on my previous laptop..i should show those house off, literally over 100 of my flight rising dragons are in that file xD Sims 3 has more freedom with colors for buildings, but Sims 4 has more freedom in other ways..honestly it's a toss up which i like making houses in more

Holy smokes, these houses look amazing, Pheel! You're an architectural genius!

I never get around to building the houses... I spend hours getting my characters Just right (I have an anthro mod, to boot) and then... Get too tired to continue xD.

thank you!!

oooh that sounds fun!! i've been thinking of trying an anthro mod some day..my dream sims game has lots of dragons roaming around sdafasd and not just the tiny useless ones from the sims 3 store

i'd love to see your sims if you're comfortable posting them :D

I decided to try the 10 minute build challenge again!

Image
went much better this time. i don't love the outdoor tile i picked but. i literally forgot to add it until the last second so i didn't have much time to think there dsfads

Image
they actually got furniture! full kitchen, beds, a bathroom. even a tv. hell yeah
i picked a bad screenshot angle but there is an archway between the kitchen and living room so asfasd it is accessible don't worry
a picnic table in the dining area wouldn't have been my first choice but it was faster than placing a table and chairs individually sdfasd

Image
due to making the house wider at one point, i ended up with lopsided window placement in the back but. oh well dsfasd

Awww this is so lovely

Growing up my stepsister had the sims 2 and I’d watch her play it! At some point I had some of the mysims games for ds and wii where they’re like chibi but the gameplay is so different! Tried playing sims 4 this year when it was free on steam but I didn’t have a great experience :/

oooh mysims is fun! it's too bad they stopped making them. i've only ever played mysims kingdom for the wii and i enjoyed it a lot ! it could get quite repetitive though sfdg
and aw..glad you could try sims 4 at least! if you don't mind me asking, what about it wasn't so great for you? i have mixed feelings on the game myself but i'm definitely curious about other people's perspectives too!

Memory’s a bit fuzzy because I only played maybe an hour or two but I think it was the character designing part. If I remember right there was stuff locked behind buying the full game
