though hahaha "only needs to be reset every 3 days" is a hilarious compliment for a watch. but totally worth it here i imagine C:

Lol yeah, the time being accurate enough for 3 days is kinda low, a lot of time pieces can reach sub-millisecond loss/gain per day, my pocket watch is probably in the realms of a few whole milliseconds of loss per day. That being said, thats still ridiculously accurate and only needs the time reset whenever I wind it up. And the wind lasts for the standard 36 hours that most timepieces will last for.

I went quiet for a bit, no pics but a general progress update: I've got an effective system for cleaning parts, I'm learning how to hand smaller assemblies like the balance and.......I've lost quite a few small parts and now need to source replacements. But!! I've got 5 watches that are on the backburner waiting for various parts.
