TESTOUT
Testout offers courses that teach the same thing as the official A+ certification, but it isn’t the exact same thing. It works the same, and can be used as the same, but it isn’t.

thats reassuring! makes me wanna try messing with html/css later...
update! im a little ways through freecodecamp's html/css course and having a TON of fun. hopefully i have the patience to actually finish the entire thing and not just find something else to tinker with lol
i also installed linux mint on a laptop (windows was pretty much making it unusable with how quickly itd overheat :/ ) and i really love it! it runs completely silent now and its awesome and fun

my only small problems with it is that it doesnt have as good of trackpad support as windows/mac and it seems to have a hard time handling external monitors with really long delays after connecting/disconnecting one...

We are trying so hard to keep up with classes but have a lot of irl bullshit going on wish us luck >:,)
On a positive note we’re starting to build a network of people we know personally who we can support and vice versa but goddamn adulting sure be adulting
We’re also running into a lot of people who like ai which makes us a bit uncomfortable

There is an annoyingly large percentage of tech people who think that AI is the catch-all modern solution

Granted, these are the same type of people who were praising IoT when THAT first became a thing

"Connect everything to the internet! Toaster, fridge, thermostat, even your toilet! The future is amazing!"

Yeah! I’m no genius but I’d imagine ai could mess with their industry in just the same way it has art stuff so the lack of foresight is surprising

Ok so it’s very interesting I am working in the tech field now but not in coding. Won’t be more specific for privacy reasons. Funny how life does that! Mostly enjoying it so far!

Halfway through the contract! We’ve concluded it’s a mixed bag job. Lots of learning we’ve been doing. Just like general life skills learning. Hopefully looks good on a resume :3
