Favorite video game?

Mine is Hollow Knight! It's just such a beautifully crafted game in gameplay, art, and story. Unfortunately, that means I've been having to wait several years for Silksong...

VVVVVV
I just love it (: It's frustrating in a fun way, it has a good story, the game mechanic is easy to learn but hard to master, . ..

I've beaten the game 4 times, making it Number 1 in my times-I've-finished list. I have the soundtrack on vinyl. I get goosebumps every time I listen to the ending song and remember that's actually the characters singing. It makes me happy (: :heart_purple: :heart_blue:

if i had to pick just one, probably Portal 2. it's endlessly replayable for me. besides the stellar gameplay, the writing and voice acting are top notch and are a massive part of why i love it.

some other favs of mine include Divinity: Original Sin 2, Doom Eternal, Terraria, GTFO, and Majora's Mask

Dragonology DS for the bit (I like it! But the nostalgia goggles are SUPER strong), Aviary Attorney for the realsies.

Inspired by one of my favourite illustrators (JJ Grandville my idol), talking animal people, lawyer game, amazing classical soundtrack... who could want for more.

YESSS VVVVVV is so good omg. it's been awhile since i've actually played it but i still think about it from time to time. the soundtrack is definitely one of the best video game soundtrack, despite how short it is. the game is absolutely a classic at this point c:

I don't play video games that much anymore but my staples are Mario Kart Wii and The Sims c: (Honestly hard to pick which Sims..I've played 2, 3, and 4 and they all have some major pros and cons haha)

oh!! someone else whos played that game!!! i never beat it but i should totally try to see if i still had my copy around. i remeber liking the ost but i haven’t listened to it for a really long time. eating the berries or mushrooms in the forest and walking around while the screen went all wobbly was always really funny to me for some reason XD

i tend to flipflop on what my favorite game is a lot just from general indecisiveness, but i always find myself settling back on Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. It's just such a fun rpg, and the way it works opens up a lot of possible ways to go about a challenge run, which i appreciate as someone that likes to replay all their old favs every year or so

after sinking many hours into it post-full-release, i have to amend my post by adding baldur's gate 3. it trounces divinity 2 imo.

Oh my gosh!! I never expected to find someone else who's played it!
(Okay, maybe on this forum I did, but you get what I mean - it's pretty obscure!)
I remember my poor little hatchling heart getting jumpscared by those leopards and other Moving Animal Hazards that would chase you throughout the maps. No horror game has ever compared to those!
And then training the little dragon and breaking soooo much glass by throwing the chickens. Are cooked chickens powerful enough to break greenhouse glass

Apparently cooked chickens are enough XD

I dont even remember how I got my original copy of the game! I do know I got it around the same time I got my ds which was when they were a new console but I’m pretty sure the game itself was used. I think I named my dragon draco but I don’t remember if that was a mechanic or if my memory isn’t working

I’m pretty sure I remember having trouble with the “boss” dragon at the end of each mission. God I wonder if the ost for the game is online. Will have to check later. XD
