There is an annoyingly large percentage of tech people who think that AI is the catch-all modern solution
Granted, these are the same type of people who were praising IoT when THAT first became a thing "Connect everything to the internet! Toaster, fridge, thermostat, even your toilet! The future is amazing!"

Yeah! I’m no genius but I’d imagine ai could mess with their industry in just the same way it has art stuff so the lack of foresight is surprising

Also re: ai. We hope if there’s no going back. We hope it learns how to love how beautiful this world is. But we also think a lot of ai stuff is probably super oversold but not as well developed so that investors dump money into it
