Hark hark !!
When I heard the only dragonrider series I'll shill for was getting its own tabletop rpg, I instantly had to check it out! It currently has a free quickplay, and it's currently in kickstarter... and has already been funded four times over  Everyone over there is as excited as me ...

Re: The "Dragonrider" Trope

Hehehe, don't know what response I expected from the Dragon Forums  Glad to see it's a very common opinion!
It's surprising there isn't As Much dragon protagonist xenofiction as one would expect to be! Wings of Fire is one thing (recently translated to my native language, so excited to see how ...

Re: Never's MtG RGB Dragon Deck

Oooh, I don't even play nor collect MtG cards, but you're tempting me here, Never!! All this art is so awesome...! Nay, I must resist!!
Never was much of a deckbuilder (more of a deck hoarder, let's be honest... love me some painted cardboard) but I'm happy to see that making a 90% dragon deck IS ...

Re: GoodReads Dragon-POV books

ooh..Jo Walton - Tooth and Claw seems like it might be interesting!

I do see Temeraire on that list, and while I've only read the first one, it is definitely a 'human taming a dragon' book and also iirc involves killing humans, as it's literally about a human military air force that uses dragons ...

The "Dragonrider" Trope

Hello hello everyone! Been a hot minute since I posted anything here but, to be perfectly frank, I live a fairly uneventful life that doesn't lend to a lot of forum-post-worthy moments.

In any case; The other day I was wandering through a bookstore (FNAC, for reference), idly perusing the ...

Re: PHPBB -> Discourse

In all ways it seems prefferable, but the smilies leaves me a tad for the sad! Seems a bit bittersweet to say goodbye to these fellas :dr_green: :dr_pheelthemoment: :dr_neververy4: :b:

Re: Discussion about art movements!

i will be honest i'm not extremely knowledgable about specific art movements but this did make me suddenly have a question

would furry art be considered an art movement? obviously not an entirely unified style but i'm like. will art scholars in 200 years be talking about the furry movement of the ...

Re: Favorite foods

I concur with the soups - was scrounging my thinkpan for all my favourite foods and I'll summarize it for you: 70% is soup. Egg drop soup, chicken noodle soup, tomato soup, minnestrone, nearly all types of ramen I've tasted, bamboo soup, nearly all vegetable medley soups I've ever tasted, goodness ...
